How it works
Pick a card, send the link on WhatsApp or by text, and they answer in one tap, no account needed.
1. Pick and personalise your card
Every card belongs to a family (Ask, Come back or Say it) and shows its intention front and centre. The message comes pre-written, and you can edit it up to 280 characters.
- Add their first name.
- Some cards let you pick an activity or a starting point.
- For cards that expect an answer, you pick a silence window: 3 days, a week, or no deadline.
2. Send the link
Knock Knock gives you a link. Send it on WhatsApp, by text or anywhere else. Your conversation stays where it already lives.
- A preview shows the card exactly as they'll see it.
- We never ask the other person for anything.
3. They answer in one tap
When they open the link, the card knocks twice and the door swings open. The intention is right there, with the answers underneath.
- Every answer is the same size and shape, including the no.
- The silence line you picked sits small at the bottom.
- “Block” and “Report” are one tap away.
What happens next?
You see their answer
Live on the web, by notification in the app. Your tracking only ever says “Link created”, “Reply received” or “Invitation closed”. Never whether the card was opened. Your knocks are grouped by person, with a search by first name and an archive.
Mirror questions, if you're both up for it
Five light-hearted questions, suggested by either of you. The game only starts with two yeses, and the answers come out once you've both finished. No scores.
The thread
A few shared milestones hang along your thread: first knock, first yes, first kind word. No counters, no streaks.
What if they don't reply?
When the window you picked runs out, the invitation gently closes. Knock Knock never follows up, and silence is never presented as a no.
- You don't have to reply: if I don't hear back in 3 days, I'll let this invitation go, and that's okay.
- You don't have to reply: if I don't hear back in a week, I'll let this invitation go, and that's okay.
- Reply whenever, no rush.
